Classes
 
  • Classes are taught everyday of the week at different hours of the day.
  • All classes are taught by professional or Top Amateur trainers and fighters.
  • Members will experience an authentic, safe and fun workout.
  • Classes are one (1) hour long, which consists of a warm-up, bag work, weights and abs.
  • Everyone will have his or her own heavy bag. Members may occasionally share a bag on busy days.
  • Classes are very intense with great music and constant "resistance training" from the heavy bags.
  • Classes are open to all levels from beginners to advanced. Both beginners and advanced members will learn fundamental boxing or kickboxing techniques, lose weight, gain strength and increase their overall cardio fitness.
  • All classes put you through the training of a fighter.
  • All consist of interval training, strength training and explosive training
  • They are always different/never the same – but always the training of a fighter.

Are you a female who is looking to lose weight? Want to burn as much as 1200 calories? Only have 60 min. to get in shape? The classes that UBF offer are a unique way to get fit and have a great time doing it, all while in a safe, comfortable, and professional environment. Boxing and kickboxing are both great ways to lose weight, relieve stress, and tone your body all in the same workout. We see every type of woman at UBF, from soccer moms and students to lawyers and athletes – everyone is welcome!


 
Amateur Boxing Team
Ultimate Fitness Boxing, Ultimate Fitness Kickboxing, Ultimate Cardio Boxing, Professional Boxing Gym, Professional Boxing Gym Services, Womens FitnessIn conjunction with its other gym activities, Ultimate Boxing & Fitness boasts an outstanding amateur boxing program, which addresses the training requirements of boxers at every level of the sport.

UBF’s amateur team is comprised of male and female boxers, who train at the UBF facility in North Miami Beach Monday through Saturday, and who participate in amateur boxing competitions under the supervision and guidance of USA Boxing’s Gold Coast Association.

UBF’s boxers are coached and trained by Ralph and Luis who has coached and trained boxers successfully at the amateur and professional levels.

Newcomers and beginners are always welcome to join.

 

Bodyforging Class

Bodyforging consists of 10 to 40 exercises depending on the level of the class.  The class is a cross between Tai chi, (power) Yoga, Pilates, Martial Arts that require specific/intense muscle contraction and control.  As the body becomes acquainted with the “movements”, additional exercises are added.  All exercises can be modified to the individuals working level.  Bodyforging builds synergy between the mind and body with consistent practice.

Kettlebells

Kettlebells are special weights used to build strength and endurance.  Unlike barbells and dumbbells, they look more like a cannonball with a thick handle attached at the top.  Traditional designs are made out of a solid ball of cast iron.  Kettlebells come in many different sizes and weights.  Kettlebell workouts are intended to increase strength, endurance, agility and balance, challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular system with dynamic, total-body movements. Not a single tool in the gym develops muscular strength and endurance for bodies as well as kettlebells. More and more people are finding out about kettlebells and are impressed with the results they get.
